McIlvenna Bay is part of the prolific Flin Flon Greenstone Belt located in east-central Saskatchewan

This underground copper-zinc-gold-silver project produced its first copper concentrate in June 2026, with commercial production expected in Q3 2026.

Based on Foran Mining's 2025 Project Feasibility Study, the initial life of mine is 18 years, and it is expected to produce on average 41 million pounds of copper, 20,000 ounces of gold, 444,000 ounces of silver, and 54 million pounds of zinc annually.

Advancing McIlvenna Bay

As of June 2026, wet commissioning of McIlvenna Bay processing plant was completed and followed by the commencement of hot commissioning. First copper concentrates were produced on June 7, 2026. The operating team is now focused on ramp-up toward the nameplate capacity of 4,900 tonnes per day.
