Robert R. Gilmore (1) (2) Chairman of the board Mr. Gilmore was appointed Chairman of the board in December 2009, after having served as an Independent Director of the Company since 2003 and as the Chairman of the Audit Committee since 2004. He is a graduate of the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Accounting. Mr. Gilmore is a Certified Public Accountant and financial consultant. From 1991 to 1997, Mr. Gilmore was the Chief Financial Officer of Dakota Mining Corporation and he was the Chief Financial Officer of Teamshare Inc. in 2002. Mr. Gilmore is a Member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPAs with more than 30 years of experience working with resource companies. He serves on the boards of Fortuna Silver Mines and Layne Christensen Company. |

Tim Baker Independent Director The Board appointed Tim Baker to the position of Independent Director effective May 20, 2011. Tim recently retired from the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Kinross Gold and has over 30 years of senior and executive level experience with global gold producers. K. Ross Cory (1) (3) Independent director Mr. Cory was first elected to the board of directors in April 2003 and has more than 20 years of investment banking experience with a focus on industrial growth companies and the mining industry. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Business. He began his career in investment banking with Richardson Greenshields of Canada in 1987, and in 1989 was a founding partner and Senior Vice-President and Director of Goepel Shields & Partners Inc., which became Raymond James in 2001. Mr. Cory served in his position with Raymond James until his retirement. Mr. Cory also serves as a corporate Director of Lumina Copper Corp. |

Geoffrey Handley (2) (4) Independent director Mr. Handley was elected to the board of directors in August 2006. Mr. Handley holds a Bachelor of Science degree (honours) from the James Cook University of North Queensland, Australia. He was most recently Executive Vice President, Strategic Development with Placer Dome and has more than 30 years of extensive experience in the mineral resource industry. Wayne D. Lenton (2) (4) Independent director Mr. Lenton was first elected to the board of directors in June 1995. He is a graduate of the Montana School of Mines with a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical and Mining Engineering. Mr. Lenton has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry. In 1979, he joined AMAX of Canada as Vice President, Operations. In 1985, he was appointed President, CEO and Director of Canada Tungsten Mining Corporation, as well as President of AMAX of Canada and President of AMAX Northwest Mining Company. From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Lenton was President & CEO and Chairman of the board of Canamax Resource Inc., and from 1985 to 1993 President & CEO and Chairman of the board of Canada Tungsten Mining Corporation. In 1989, he became Chairman of the board of Minerex Resources and from 1993 to 1995, Mr. Lenton served as President and CEO of Canada Tungsten. Mr. Lenton is a past Chairman of the Mining Association of British Columbia and was a Director of the Mining Association of Canada. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, and the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers and is a Professional Engineer in British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. Mr. Lenton is an independent mining consultant in Tucson, Arizona, and serves on the board of directors of Energold Drilling Ltd. and North American Tungsten Corporation Ltd. |

Michael Price (1) (4) Independent director Mr. Price was elected to the board of directors for an initial term at the 2011 annual meeting. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Honours) and a Doctorate in Mining Engineering from University College Cardiff, a Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (Coal Mines, South Africa) and the Professional engineering qualifications MIMMM and Eur Ing (FEANI). Mr. Price has been the Mining Finance Consultant and Adviser and London Representative of Resource Capital Funds since 2006. From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Price served as the Managing Director, Joint Global Head of Mining and Metals of Barclay's Capital, Managing Director, Global Head of Mining and Metals of Société General, London from 2001 to 2003, Executive Director, Head of Resource Banking and Metals Trading, N.M. Rothschilds & Sons Ltd. from 1989 to 2001. From 1981- 1988 held the position of Mining Engineer, Business & Financial Analyst for British Petroleum PLC. Jonathan A. Rubenstein (2) (3) Independent director Mr. Rubenstein was first elected to the board of directors in May 2009. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University and a law degree from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Rubenstein was the Vice President, Corporate Affairs for Sutton Resources from 1995 to 1999; and one of the founders of Canico Resources Corp., where he served as a director and as Vice President & Corporate Secretary; a founder and director of Cumberland Resources Ltd.; and a director of Aurelian Resources Inc. Mr. Rubenstein retired from his legal practice in 1994 and since that time has been a mining executive and corporate director. Donald Shumka (1) (3) Independent director Mr. Shumka was first appointed to the board of directors in May 2005. Mr. Shumka is and has been since 2004 President and Managing Director of Walden Management Ltd, a firm that provides financial consulting and advisory services to the financial, manufacturing and processing industries. He has extensive financial and management experience, including more than 15 years in investment banking with Raymond James Ltd. and CIBC World Markets, and 25 years in the forest industry where he served as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of West Fraser Timber Company. Fabiana Chubbs Chief Financial Officer Fabiana Chubbs joined Eldorado in July 2007 as Treasurer Coordinator and was appointed Treasurer and Risk Manager in July 2008. She was appointed Chief Financial Officer on June 1, 2011. Fabiana is a Chartered Accountant (Canada) and a Certified Public Accountant (Argentina) with over 23 years experience in tax, audit, and business advisory services to international public companies. Fabiana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires. Prior to joining Eldorado, Mrs. Chubbs was the Senior Manager, Pricewaterhouse Coopers Audit Group, where she had worked on the Eldorado account since December 1996. |

Norm S. Pitcher Chief Operating Officer Norm Pitcher was appointed Chief Operating Officer on July 1, 2005. Prior to becoming COO, he was Vice President Exploration and Corporate Development of Eldorado where he led our exploration activities and identified new business opportunities. A graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in geology, Norm has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. Throughout his career with Eldorado, Pan American Silver, H. A. Simons, Ivanhoe Gold and Pioneer Metals, Norm has been involved in the exploration, evaluation and exploitation of open pit and underground mineral deposits on an international scale. |

Dawn L. Moss VP, Administration and Corporate Secretary Dawn Moss joined Eldorado as Corporate Administrator in November 1998 and was appointed Corporate Secretary in October 2000 and Vice President, Administration in March 2009 and has over 25 years of administration experience in the resource industry. She is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Canada, the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries and is an Accredited Director. |

Dale L. Churcher VP, Engineering Dale Churcher joined Eldorado in 1997 as Manager Project Development where he has been involved in the development of the Kişladağ mine from exploration stage through engineering and construction. He was appointed Vice President Engineering in August 2008 to oversee engineering and development activity for existing operations and new projects. He has worked in the resource industry for 35 years in North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia, and is a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines in Ontario and a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration. |

Doug Jones Senior VP, China Doug Jones joined Eldorado in May 2011 as Vice President, China Operations and was appointed Senior VP, China in November 2011. In this role, he has overall responsibility for the operations and development projects within China. Doug has 27 years experience in operations, engineering and management roles in small to large mines and projects with companies including Kinross, Stillwater, Newmont, and Freeport McMoRan. Doug was also VP of engineering for a major international mining consulting firm. As a strong leader, Doug brings a wealth of knowledge and experience at a senior management level both in North America and internationally. |

Peter D. Lewis VP, Exploration Dr. Peter Lewis joined Eldorado in May 2009 as Vice President, Exploration. He holds a Doctorate in Geology from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Stanford University. He brings to the Company over 15 years of experience in mineral exploration, primarily as an independent consultant specializing in structural controls on mineral deposits. His previous work encompasses a broad spectrum of deposit types and worldwide geological settings for clients including Teck Cominco, Barrick Gold, Newmont Mining, Ivanhoe Mines, and Eldorado Gold. |

Eduardo E. Moura VP, Corporate Development Eduardo Moura joined Eldorado's São Bento Gold Mine in Brazil in October 1996 as a Planning Engineer and relocated to the Vancouver Corporate Offices in 2000. He was appointed Vice President, Corporate Development in August 2008. Eduardo holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and a post-graduate degree in Engineering Economy from Fundação Dom Cabral, a leading business school in Brazil as well as an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil and is a Chartered Engineer (Brazil). He has been involved in the evaluation of numerous open pit and underground projects, as well as corporate transactions, on behalf of Eldorado Gold. |

Paul J. Skayman Senior VP, Operations Paul Skayman joined Eldorado in September 2005 as Project Manager and General Manager for the China Operations, a position he held with Afcan Mining Limited when it was acquired by Eldorado in 2005. He was appointed Vice President, Operations of Eldorado in December 2008. A graduate of Murdoch University in Perth, Australia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Paul has over 22 years of experience in the mining industry in Australia, Asia and Africa. Throughout his career, Paul has been involved in the evaluation, exploitation, development and operation of open-pit operations throughout the world. Nancy E. Woo VP, Investor Relations Nancy Woo joined Eldorado in October 2002 as Manager, Investor Relations and was appointed Vice President, Investor Relations in August 2008. Nancy has 30 years of experience in investor relations and North American public markets. She holds a Master of Science degree in public relations from The American University in Washington, DC and a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from the University of British Columbia. Nancy is a Member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI), the National Investor Relations Institute and was the 2007 CIRI Award for Excellence recipient.
